The problem: white or black backgrounds with inconsistent sprite appearances

The game: Higurashi Ch.1

The mod variant: Full

I bought the game at: Steam

My operating system is Windows

I installed the patch: Installer

Mod Download and Install Date: two days ago

What you have already done to fix the problem: nothing, its kind of funny

I noticed you can reproduce this if you change a graphics preset before reaching the title screen, however it should only persist until the game is restarted - See 07th-mod/higurashi-assembly#104

I'm going to assume this is a duplicate of that issue (although I think this is the only user report we've had of this issue happening in the wild)
