Straight out of the box with fresh batteries:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ switchmate-ble find
Found a switch (v1) with id of e1293ccbc3db
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ switchmate-ble pair e1293ccbc3db
Connected to e1293ccbc3db, a switch (v1)

So what auth code do I use or do I just leave that off as if it was a v3 switch?

It worked on another v1 switch so perhaps this one is defective?

Can you try removing the batteries and then putting them back in, to see if it will start working after it is reset?

I'm encountering this same issue after changing to new batteries. Pairing no longer gives a new authcode

Status window says:
Switch e2xxxxxxxxxx has reset itself. A new authCode has to be obtained by re-pairing it.

It's like the switch needs to be reset or the old pairing forgotten but there's no clear way to do this.
