Hello Anycubic,
you said it will be open source and posted this part of the firmware hear. In the meantime the community doesn't sleep and could figure out that it is not possible to compile the firmware with your given information. Some necessary parts are missing. Also, the files are not based on latest release version.

Sadly you also removed the possibility to downgrade the firmware, so a lot of people are pretty unhappy.

When do you will stay to your words and bring it open source?!

are you so indifferent to the community that you can't even manage to reply?

I think you already know the answer to that.

I was excited, and considering a purchase of Kobra 3 max to replace a Chiron.
I suppose I could just swap in a duet3d.

Mmmm, this is unfortunate.

This has affected what was before a clear choice for me and I am certain many others...
Anycubic let this printer flourish!

When I bought a Visio TV, I was furious that they didn't comply with the GNU
Now they're in court because of it...
Just sayin.

It takes someone with the money and will to do the lawsuit, but it does happen sometimes. We all know the whole reason ddwrt and its children exist is because Linksys violated the GPL and got sued. I have little hope for a similar outcome here due to Anycubic's location, but we can dream.
