Tom's Simple Storage Mod Item Deletion

I had about 30ish netherite chests stacked near each other for Tom's simple storage, once my system got full the system showed that there were still 3 slots left. The issue is when the system is full, the system says there are slots left and if you shift-click any items into the system they are lost forever (Basically deleted or out of reach). Tested this with fewer chests and got the same result. Had to make an urgent announcement to the server players to STOP using Tom's simple storage mod so it doesn't destroy their items.
