How does latency get affected by number of peers under conditions of large blocks?

Simplest initial test case:

  • single producer network
  • 1MB blocks every 0.5 seconds
  • 200+ connected peers
  • Check to see what proportion of peers remain live

Completed local testing. The block nack feature demonstrated huge benefit. Implemented in: #1099
