Please do regular (yearly?) updates to this excellent reference app. Reasons:

To take advantage of new Azure features. Azure Functions would be a great inclusion in MyDriving.
To communicate that this is the reference architecture.
Ensure the projects/solutions/scripts work with the latest SDKS and tooling.
