I've had a list of potential changes for planetoids around for quite a while and so far haven't implemented them.
Just putting the idea in here, more ideas and feedback could be posted as well.
This is straight from a notepad of mine and may appear as ramblings of a madman.
Mini planet near spawn planetoid:
Torches, Glowstick, Wood
Ice Planetoids? (Replace Snow Brick ones)
Hint: larger planetoids higher chest chance
Place random light in dirt planetoids
Replace a lot of gems with ores
Place Hive inside jungel donut
place bee inside hives
blue mushroom as surround to ores?
Dynamic tips:
In your world are shadow keys
In your world are x of y chests
gold keys in gold locked chests
add sunplate
add livingwood/grass
move hellstone to hell
remove obsidian
add locked lizhard temple planetoids with hardmode items?
check ocean biome condition
Dungeon backgrounds - brick, slab tile all needed
plenty of slush/silt extractinator
rainbow planet with dyes and vanity
