Description:

There will soon (likely Q1 2025) be an option for lab users performing the TGA workflow to use the "TWIST Target Enrichment on Hamilton" supporting procedure.

• Please add a UDF "Hamilton used" with a scroll down list to select which instrument was used (currently only Linda has the method) or NA.

• Since this is a Hamilton method it needs an input file for the Hamilton. Please, could it be arranged that there is a blue buton in LIMS for the user to click to generate that file to download?

This input file should follow the format we are currently using for the "KAPA Library Preparation" as both use the "NGS FX" (NGS Framework) to read and build arrays for Hamilton to build pipetting sequences from.

Here is an example, that was used for the SAT (Site Acceptance Test) of the method:

Column info for the list/input file:

1. The number of rows (excluding the header) will be the number of pools, so in this example (and going forward) the "LIMS ID" column will not have the actual LIMS ID's but rather whatever pool name is in the "Samples" list in the Target Enrichment step in LIMS.

2. The Pool Well is which well the pool will be processed in, and should be fetched from the "Well" column in the LIMS Samples table.

3. Bait Set should be fetched from the "Bait Set" column in the LIMS Samples table.

4. PCR Plate should be fetched from the "PCR Plate" column in the LIMS Samples table.
