I'm sure this is on your radar already, you might even know the people at GoodBoyDigital (I know it's a small world). But regardless, I'm still posting this here. https://github.com/GoodBoyDigital/pixi.js/

It's actually really well done, and I hope you take a day to try it out.
There's actually a lot of similarities between their API and EaselJS, and I was thinking, maybe... since both projects are under the same license, there may be a collaborative effort born here.

It may be a reach, but hey, you never know ;)
