It might be a bad idea to make a layout responsive in a second step. Isn't it easier to have responsivity in mind from the start and not make it a separate thing?

Yes, I agree that complex responsive layouts should be considered from the start. What I meant with this "feature request" (definitely not the right term...) is to start with just one viewport-width for quick prototyping and then spend an extra-hour to make the changes for different screen-sizes. I would definitely do this in a early stage. But if you do everything on the go (e.g. implementing different font-sizes) it will slow you down. Happy to hear, if you have made different experiences.

Quick prototyping I usually do with figma. but I see what you mean. we can talk about that tomorrow.

oh, with prototyping I rather meant the technical/functional build-up process of the site, not the layout. But yeah, let's discuss tomorrow.
Btw. do you know Penpot? It's a very powerful figma alternative and fully open source.
