contacts from davx5 (nextxloud) does not show up

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. i have my contacts hosted on nextcloud which used carddav for Contacts. I have Google Play services disabled on my device.
2. davx5 is installed as sync provider.
3. davx5 is setup with nextxloud account.
4. the contact sync appears under accounts in android aettings
5. The app does only show the local account and not the davx5 account.
6. Older version of simple contact works in this configuration and this fossyfy contacts 1.0.1 worked as well until I have installed my phone from scratch. Now I can't get it working again.

Expected behavior

All accounts that are configured under Android accounts should show up.

Actual behavior

Only the local account (phone) shows up.
