Feature

  • Doc edittor menubar.

Current problems/solutions

  • P The button save appears on top of the menubar everytime a document is changed and it makes the document jump, the ui behavior si not good because the screen jumps up and down.

  • S Stick the bar to the top always so that the bar remains available.

  • P when the user starts writing a big document, the menubar is lost and then you have to go up all the way to see the menubar again.

  • S Place the save button on the right side of the menubar. Ideas: use flex wrapping the button and the menubar.

  • P There are repeated icons that are misleading and not clear, also the behavior in the editor is uncertain because of this confusion.

  • S At least remove the icons so that you have only one of a kind, other wise find new appropriate icons...

Ideas for solutions:

  • Explore if we can use the config of ckeditor to pass a component
  • Paste the button on the side..
  • Put button on the menubar on top
  • Ctrl + S is a nice enhancement anyways
  • More advanced would be to use the native like kind of menus, like vscode....
