Heart rate monitor new reading indication

I think it would be nice to have some extra visual indication, some sort of subtle blip, for each new heart rate reading. When subsequent readings are the same, one can have extra confidence that the reading is accurate. At the moment, I count 8 seconds to know when a new reading is likely to have occurred.
