Request for a new release to include recent bug fixes

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your work on this project! It's been incredibly valuable for me.

I noticed that __getitem__ was fixed recently, but this fix hasn't been included in any release yet. This fix was very important for me but I had problems finding the reason why my version was outdated (which it wasn't, strictly speaking).

Since the last release was 6 months ago, would it be possible to create a new release including this fix? Thanks again!
