GLIMPSE v1.0 release (a graphical user interface for GCAM)

The U.S. EPA's Office of Research and Development has publicly released GLIMPSE version 1.0. (GLIMPSE=GCAM Long-term Interactive Multi-Pollutant Scenario Evaluator). GLIMPSE, a graphical user interface for GCAM, supports activities such as:

• Implementing policies and constructing scenarios
• Executing GCAM and monitoring execution
• Archiving scenario setup and files to support repeatability
• Interactively exploring model outputs via graphing, filtering, and differencing

Please note that GLIMPSE v1.0 has been configured to work with GCAM-USA 5.4 and to run on Windows PCs. We expect that GLIMPSE v1.1 will be released later this calendar year and will support GCAM and GCAM-USA 7.0, as well as Mac and Linux operating systems.
