I am Mohamed Nasser, a Biomedical Engineering student at Cairo University. Throughout my academic journey, I've engaged extensively with various forms of medical data, including images and multi-channel time series. This exposure has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges surrounding data storage and retrieval in the medical domain.
Proficient in Python, Java, and several other programming languages, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the Beehive project.

I am Abhiram a sophomore at NITT, My primary domain is devOps, other than that I mainly work in backend, cybersecurity, and Blockchain. I really like the philosophy behind open source and decentralization but due to prior commitments I was not able to work on them during my first year but now I have been active in the open source community for the past 7 to 8 months, other than that right now I am actively working with my club to improve my collage tech infrastructure and building a project for a startup that's being incubated by NTU Singapore.

So I chose this project specifically because I have primarily used MongoDB for many of my club's work and personally have made PRs for open source orgs for mongo also I'm passionate about using technology to make a real-world impact, particularly in healthcare and human services, and I'm excited to explore how digital platforms like Beehive can enhance healthcare delivery for vulnerable communities. I look forward to learning from and contributing to this community, sharing ideas, and engaging in discussions that help us grow together.

I am Mayank, a third year student pursuing the field of AI and DS. I have a keen interest in working with data and am familiar with a lot of data preprocessing and extracting techniques using python. I also have work experience working with SQL databases during my previous internship period.
I have a keen interest in the field of healthcare (mental health) and creating societal impact as I have also volunteered in AIESEC before.
The project beehive has greatly intrigued me and I can see a lot of value in its completion and would love to be a part of it by contributing.
Lastly, my goal of joining this project is to learn from mentors and I hope that beehive will be a great success.
Please give me some advice regarding how I can contribute to this project and I would love to know more about it as well.

I have successfully set up the project locally and have been reviewing the documentation in detail. I tested the features in the Implementation Details, and everything I tried is functioning well. While reviewing, I noticed two broken links in the documentation (fixed in my forked repository). Additionally, if needed, the documentation can be made more beginner-friendly, although it worked well for me. Could you please advise on the next steps or tasks I should prioritise?

I’ve added an update to allow multiple images with shared metadata to be uploaded at once, making it more user-friendly for researchers and marginalised folks. However, I haven’t specified the acceptable image formats. Should we define supported file types explicitly, and if so, what formats should we allow?

My name is Ishaan Gupta, and I’m currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Data Science from NSUT, New Delhi, India. I am familiar with technologies like Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django), SQL & MongoDB, MERN stack, Redis, and WebSockets. I have also interned at startups, working on FastAPI and AI solutions.

I’m very interested in contributing to Project #3 Beehive as part of Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025 and would like to propose a few ideas for potential improvements to the project:

1. The UI can be enhanced by integrating Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap, creating a responsive and aesthetically pleasing experience that aligns with the project’s mission.
2. Instead of storing images in the static folder, I suggest saving them as Base64 strings or binary data in the database (e.g., using MongoDB’s GridFS).
3. Allow contributors to add tags (e.g., “unhoused,” “recovering alcoholic”) when submitting their art. This can help analyze and report on contributions and offer better support for specific groups.
4. Enable both users and admins to download images in specific formats to improve the ease of content retrieval and sharing.
5. Enhance the database to allow for user interactions like likes, comments, and shares, promoting engagement and interaction within the community.

I would be excited to contribute and refine these ideas based on feedback. Please let me know your thoughts or any other features you’d like me to focus on.

I am Chandrika Singh Jadon, and I’m currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, India. I have experience with technologies such as Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django), SQL & MongoDB, OpenCV, and Machine Learning frameworks.
