Arctic and/or rotating earth

All global map projections make it difficult to properly show the Arctic Ocean. .Might it be possible to add an option to show the results in a orthographic projection where the user could somehow choose the view of the earth (from space). Even better might be to add a feature where the Earth would rotate if a button was clicked. These are not critical features, but would be nice I think.
