A simple idea

Using custom anvils to combine custom armour together that uses exp
This will allow you to combine 2 pieces of armour together

I wonder how, exactly, this would work. How would the custom anvils work without adding commands? What would be combined?
I also wonder if this may be out-of-scope for this project. Can you justify this feature being added to a plugin that deals solely in item modifications?
