Some episodes have the subtitles as separate downloads. When you send the mkv to Kodi it doesn't find the subtitles. I'm not sure if it is possible to have Kodi API open them together with the video or do 2 api calls to have subtitles as well.

it may be possible to send the subtitles separately to kodi but you would need to redownload the link selecting only the file you want and then select the send to kodi button again

How can we send a link to kodi when there is already a movie playing? Can this maybe done via Yatse or Kore?
