Hi, I have been using lolminer to dual mine ETH and TON for over a month now, and in the last week I've begun to get an error occurring after mining anywhere from a few hours to nearly a full day, as you can see in the attached screenshot:
The error messages begin with "Lost connection to stratum server eth.2miners.com:2020" which of course refers to the ETH pool I'm using. Messages after that appear to show the program trying to reconnect but giving up after 300 seconds and the program exits. I have a pause command ending my bat file which displays "Press any key to continue" after which the program exits so I can see messages like this.
I could try to use another pool but I've never had this issue with the 2miners pool and lolminer just mining ETH or with any other miner, in particular t-rex and gminer. After getting this error a week ago and restarting the program several times -- it always reconnects after restarting the program -- I went back to mining ETH only and get no errors like this with t-rex, gminer, or lolminer. Also, I have another computer which I'm mining on as well and I have the same issues with lolminer in dual mining mode (ETH+TON) with it. Both programs terminate with the same error messages, though I don't usually find them terminating at the same time. I have no connectivity issues with the internet that I'm aware of. My home network is ethernet to a router, which connects by ethernet to a cable modem and an apparently reliable ISP.
What's the best way to deal with this? Would it help to increase the 300 second timeout, if that's possible? I would think that if the program would just keep trying to reconnect, or do some sort of reset and restart that the program would eventually reconnect, because it always will connect again ok if I restart the program. But even if just restarting the program is an option I should consider (like a :start and goto :start loop to run the program endlessly until I press control-C) it takes 5 or 10 minutes or more to retune for LHR, etc.
Also, what are my options, if any, with designating a backup pool in case eth.2miners.com is going down on their end? I don't know if that's possible, at least I don't see it as an option in the documentation.
