Test owner@Tendolls

HYPOTHESIS

We believe that [user]: We believe that introducing a terminology search feature will assist translators by providing accurate and consistent Tibetan term suggestions.
Need [function]: A user-friendly search tool integrated into the translation interface.
In order toImprove translation quality and ensure consistency across texts.
This will increase our North Star Metric by [number]: 25% in user satisfaction and translation accuracy.

TEST

To verify that, we will:

  • Step 1Add a search bar to the translation interface, allowing users to input English terms.
  • Step 2Connect the search bar to a curated terminology database for Tibetan equivalents.
  • Step 3Display suggested Tibetan terms in a dropdown or modal format, including:
    Tibetan synonyms.
  • Step 4Enable users to click/select a term, auto-inserting it into the translation.
  • ]Step 5 Ensure the feature functions smoothly on web.

METRIC

And measure:

  1. Metric 1User adoption rate: Frequency of users using the search feature during translation.
  2. Metric 2Accuracy improvement: Increase in consistent and contextually accurate translations.

CRITERIA

We are right if:
1.The search bar is available and functional in the translation interface.
Suggested terms (Tibetan equivalents and synonyms) appear for 95% of searched English terms.
Users can select a term, and it is auto-inserted into the translation without errors.
The feature works seamlessly on web.
