Colors and typography are the core of any design system, setting the visual tone and ensuring brand consistency. Currently, the Treasury project lacks a unified approach to color usage and text styling, leading to inconsistencies in the user experience. By standardizing these elements, we create a solid base for building scalable and cohesive UI components.
User Story
As a: Product Designer, I want to: establish a unified color palette and typography scale for the design system, So that: the UI maintains consistency, accessibility, and scalability across all components and screens.
Acceptance Criteria
The defined colors and typography are integrated into the design tokens.
They must be able to be programmatically applied across the component library.
Color tokens must have 2 variations: Dark and Light.
Primary color tokens must be variable for different projects
Draft and share new rules for working with colors and typography with the Dev team for future tasks.
Minimize the future possibility of using in code non-standardized colors and typography
