Any change of open-sourcing older (10+ year old) drivers?

I was wondering if there was any possibility of open-sourcing older driver releases (like 71.xx.xx?) so currently unsupported cards could be ported to newer kernels? I think most of those cards predate firmware blobs, so it's just the driver code itself that would need releasing. I have an NV03 I'd like to get opengl working on.

I'm sorry: I think it will be unlikely that we can scrub the source code of old driver releases like 71.xx.xx to be able to release it.
The Nouveau driver may be a better starting point for what you are interested in. Sorry.
