Bug Report

Summary

Adjusted the files of some mods myself. Portrait replacers, changed some xnbs. Specifically, I changed all the portrait pngs within other mods and the Spouserooms.xnb file. A full list can be provided. When selecting "Apply" the button briefly loads, indicating progress, before going back to the apply button.

Steps to reproduce

Am not entirely sure -- perhaps it's editing files yourself in the mods folder? Use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5450?tab=description then download this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/22876?tab=description and replace all. Then attempt to apply the mods.
The other thing that may be affecting it is this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/828?tab=description which simply replaces the xnb within the Content folder of the game.
The only other thing I can think of is the amount that needs applying; apparently, it's adding 5009, modifying 1084 and removing 25, as seen in the screenshot below.

What is the expected behaviour?

As all the files are the same I expected it to apply just fine.

Other information

Am on steamdeck, so linux. Here's a screenshot and my log file.

This should be fixed in the next release.

Right now when two mods provide the same files, the "winner" is randomly selected. We've changed it so the most recently installed mod will "win" the conflict for now. In future, we'll have a UI where you can manage these conflicts. I would say we should test this again in 0.7.2 (when it releases!) and see if you're still having the problem.
