Love the plugin! However, I've repeatedly had one major issue with it: it seems to always show a TOC, even when the note the user is viewing does not have any headings. When the current note has no headings, then the TOC is formed from the headings in the last viewed note. I only use TOCs in about 10% of my notes, so this means that I constantly have a phantom TOC floating over my notes. I value the TOC enough for the notes where I need one that I haven't disabled the plugin. But it's a very serious downside! It would be great if this could be fixed.
I should say that the phantom TOCs clear if you start and restart Obsidian, but I definitely don't plan to do this regularly. If there's some other way to clear these regularly, I would also appreciate hearing it.
