include module in my custom theme

I would like to include this module in my theme, but I'm having trouble, I added the piece of code that calls the hook "displayContentWrapperTop" in my checkout page custom file. But it doesn't work. Can you help me?
I have not found clear documentation for this type of problem and the prestashop team told me to write to you here.

When a module is not fully displayed on a shop, I recommend checking with the default theme classic first.

• If the module appears on the cart the classic theme, check the custom theme you use actually calls "displayContentWrapperTop" in its layout templates.
• If it does not appear, this is likely caused by the hooks not properly registered
