I saw your issue with attempting to install Kinto on Ubuntu 24.10 on an ARM system. Seems the Kinto installer is trying to run commands meant for Windows for some reason.

You may not get much of a response from the Kinto dev. He's been doing other life stuff for quite a long time now. So I'm inviting you to try installing Toshy on the same system. Toshy is kind of a replacement I made for Kinto, that supports Wayland environments and does a bunch of things differently from Kinto, but has the same kind of simulated Mac-like config file.

As far as I know Toshy works on ARM systems like Raspberry Pi, and I've heard from a few users running it on Apple Silicon Macs. So I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't work on Ubuntu 24.10 on an aarch64 system.
