Apparently this is by-design in various browser implementations, see: https://issues.chromium.org/issues/40567304. Can't be fixed as far as I see. The SSH link which opens in the terminal works. Is that sufficient? |

Username is lost in address bar
The problem is that if you press enter in the browser window, the username isn't used, which is hard to spot.
