Local variables not being local

When setting a variable (to my knowledge this is the only effect that does this) inside a parse: section, local variables are for some reason not local and will have the value from the last use.

Showcasing code and screenshots attached. Expected the local vars to (obviously) not exist until they have been defined a few lines later.
