Unable to connect chrome extension to SOLID POD

During developing a chrome-based extension to store information on solid POD( The read-write operation is directly from chrome extension to the POD), we get a POD on solid community and Inrupt.

However, POD only accepts valid URLs at this moment, and chrome extensions do not have that.
