Stellarium has dependency to EOL libfuse2 library. Could be update to the new runtime.

According to https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE AppImage using exactly libfuse2

If this is a general AppImage dependency, it's IMHO not really our business. Just observe and follow changes there.

By moving to https://github.com/AppImage/appimagetool/releases/tag/continuous, the newer https://github.com/AppImage/type2-runtime would get used which no longer requires libfuse (as it statically links libfuse3).
