Suggestion: Consider Adopting an Open License for HunyuanVideo

Thank you for making HunyuanVideo available. However, I noticed that the current Community License Agreement (https://github.com/Tencent/HunyuanVideo/blob/main/LICENSE.txt) does not apply in the European Union (and other regions), which effectively excludes many potential users and contributors, including myself ^_^U

I would like to suggest considering a more universally recognized open-source license, such as Apache 2.0 (https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0) or MIT (https://opensource.org/license/MIT).

Advantages of using one of these licenses:

• Global Usage and Collaboration: Researchers and developers worldwide (including in the EU) could adopt and contribute without legal uncertainties.
• Broader Adoption: A standard, well-known license often encourages more people and organizations to get involved and offer improvements.
• Clear Legal Terms: Licenses like Apache 2.0 include well-known disclaimers and patent provisions that protect both maintainers and users, reducing legal risks and misunderstandings.

I understand there may be reasons for the current license, and I was wondering if you could share more about the context behind this choice. It would be great to understand your perspective.

At the same time, I hope you’ll consider a more open approach. It could significantly expand HunyuanVideo’s reach and community support.

I was very disappointed about the license too.
It would be great if you could reconsider it like the comment above.

I wrote about this similar issue 171 and stumbled across it again. I couldn't agree more with the points raised.
