Videos aren't being added to the subscriptions page/rss when they come out. Sometimes they'd come up after significant time after the release, sometimes they don't show up at all. I'm sure it's not the instance/fork's issue, but in the main repo my thread got ignored.

There is also a channel I randomly chanced on which appears to have the latest video uploaded over a year ago, while on youtube it shows new videos as early as a few days ago https://watch.thekitty.zone/channel/UChhn5verx6BxRK9xGq19Y2Q

Now I'm questioning the way I'm using invidious. I'm actually fine with watching videos in youtube, but I'd love to have a comprehensive rss feed with fresh uploads. Maybe rss isn't like a core feature so it doesn't get much attention?

Will look into it, this is indeed weird and should be investigated.

Disregard that issue. Turns out, I had the "hide videos shorter than..." enabled, and those new videos on the channel were rather short. Previously short videos left a blank spot in their place, so it didn't click with me they were simply hidden. My bad.
