Account / User profile / Front page: Suggest new songs based on existing likes

Match by artists and likes by other users. Possibly by favorite tags as well.

What is this related to?
Is it about the "Users who liked this also liked" section on song entries or is it related to the notifications users receive for newly added songs?
Or is it something completely different, a new feature?

Can't remember exactly what I was thinking 8 years ago, but I think it should be a new feature. Similar to "Users who liked this also liked", but taking account all the songs you have rated. "I don't know what to listen to, but I'd like something similar to what I already like". Like those recommendation algorithms on Spotify or YouTube.

Oh, interesting. I like this idea. Would it be on the account / user profile somewhere (new tab / new page) or on the front page (accessible from the sidebar)?

I'm not sure. I think back then I would've made it a new tab under user profile, but maybe it would be too hidden there. It could also be a new section on the front page. It could even replace the "Highlighted PVs" list. Or maybe similar to the "discovery queue" on Steam. Anyway, I think this can be considered while doing the frontend overhaul. Maybe Finn already thought about it.
