The issue stems from the cars. I tested with multiple vehicles, and could replicate the issue pretty well majority time. I didn't test whether transmission affected it.
The core of the issue stems from the fact that reversing into objects gives no collision. If you go at a high speed in reverse toward a wall while turning (I find turning right with the D key allows it to happen much more often) will cause you to clip through the wall. This can easily be abused by breaking into areas and defying the laws of physics. For demonstration I've made a small clip showcasing the issue.
