Initial class and initial title infos in niri msg windows

It will be helpful if we can read initial class and initial titles within the output of niri msg windows (though we can actually read them from niri msg event-stream).

For example, when I start the Mathematica 14.0 client, the initial title is "Mathematica", and then become ".* - Wolfram Mathematica" after it is fully opened. The issue here is that the initial window opened with name "Mathematica" displays text and background unaligned (due to the window size is not correct, and this will be a no issue if I can set it floating). To make it behave normally, I get its initial class and title on hyprland and also the size of initial window so that I can set a window rule for it (it turns out that min and max widths and heights all have to be 390).

I don't disagree with adding these, but why do you need the initial title here? You can match both the initial and the new title with a "Mathematica$" regex. Or just the initial title with "^Mathematica$".

I just take it as an example for that I would have not known the initial title name if I don't watch the contents in niri msg event-stream just using niri msg windows to set my window rule..

Ah, I see. Makes sense.

Does it actually change the splash window into the main window? Because many apps will instead close the splash and open a new main window, in which case initial title won't help catch it.

Since the window rule is working and I can get correct initial title and class infos on hyprland with hyprctl clients, I guess this is the former case u mentioned.

You can see it closes the window 25 which is the splash screen right before opening the window 26 which is the main window. Though, it might be the case that the second window also starts with title Mathematica, but changes it instantly so the event stream doesn't report it. Can't say without further testing.
