The attached PDF contains feedback from the READ-COM project partners in Portugal
Plan to add replies in comments below to items mentioned there one-by-one and point to other issue entries (that may be closed or still in progress, adding more issue/enhancement entries if needed). Then will close this item
The APP should open with a presentation screen of the project and not in the example story or last
story opened. Then go to the flags screen (1st screen)
This is by design since end-users are children. They're not interested in the project itself and could be scared away / close the app on first launch.
The app always opens last content since user could close the app by mistake, or when battery goes down, or OS like Android can take down the app (to save memory) when user switches to other temporarily. Apps in Android always have to restore their content when resumed.
Link to the project site (opens in user's web brower) is available from the default document (the one with the flags) by clicking the read-com icon at the top of that document (not meaning the 1st button of the left sidebar that takes one back to the default document)
Some more info and links regarding the project are available from the About box
On the 2nd screen (CONTENTS AND ACTIVITIES) only the section from 3 to 6 years works
The app is content agnostic and only embeds the default document with the flags. The Portuguese default document is pulled from the READ-COM Gallery dynamically. READ-COM Gallery has its own separate issue tracking system for its content so feedback can be entered there. Auto-referencing this at Zoomicon/READCOM_Gallery#34
See Spanish and Greek language documents. More Portuguese activities/stories have to be uploaded to the READ-COM Gallery repository and the Portuguese default document has to be edited to point to subdocuments for the three language ranges that point to those stories (for the 3-6, 6-9, 9-12 there should be gallery-like activities that contain thumnails that link to the stories like done for the Greek language)
