I was trying to reach you alexandervdm, to ask how can be able to make a translation to Japanese/Korean/Turk review the German/Spanish versions.
The wiki section does not shows active parts of contributing.

I just make this github account and Im not used to github, (Im running CVS).
Greetings.

Hi, @Alvatex! I can say some technical things about translations. I do not know the policies for making and reviewing translations. I speak some Spanish, so I could help review the Spanish translation.

The translations are in the po directory. For example, the Spanish translation is in po/es.po.

The translations use the "portable object" file format. Each translated string is described by two lines.

#: ../data/ui/prefs.glade.h:53
msgid "This program was not found on your system."
msgstr "No se encontró este programa en su sistema."

The msgid line is a label for the string. You do not normally edit that. The msgstr line is a translation of the string. You can edit that.

In Gummi, sometimes a menu item or a button has an underlined letter. You can type that letter to select the menu item or the button. In the translation file, there is an underscore before the underlined letter.

#: ../data/ui/gummi.glade.h:63
msgid "Find Ne_xt"
msgstr "Buscar _siguiente"

Here is more information about portable object files. Everyone, please tell me if I made any mistakes.
