I've come across a perplexing issue with the Amazon Ads API regarding the sales and purchases data over different periods, specifically with the 'sales30d' and 'purchases7d' fields. Despite recording sales on several dates, the cumulative data doesn't seem to reflect these sales correctly.
Here are the key points of concern:
The 'sales30d' figures are not adding up to the expected totals considering the individual sales recorded over the month.
There were sales recorded on 30.11.2023, 01.12.2023, and 06.12.2023. However, the 'purchases7d' count as of 06.12.2023 is 1, which doesn't tally with the number of sales events (which should be 3 based on a 7-day look-back period).
This discrepancy in data is quite troubling as it impacts our advertising strategy analysis and financial reporting.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any insights or resolutions would be greatly appreciated.
I'm attaching a screenshot for reference to the data anomalies observed. Looking forward to some helpful feedback and a resolution to this matter.
