The current release naming scheme uses a numbering format (based on implementation + gateway-api version ) due to the historical logic apisnoop needs to track conformance progress over time.
An alternative naming scheme GATEWAY_API_VERSION-IMPLEMENTATION-IMPLEMENTATION_VERSION maybe used in the future.
