SUGGESTION: Dot Grid Filling Option for Vectorization

I am working on etching a piece of glass and I like the look of the etching at the start of each etching pass. So I think an infill option of laser "pierces" (start/stop, no movement) would be an interesting addition. Below are the parameters I would like to be able to control with this option.

Two initial options for the grid orientation:
90deg (vertical/horizonal)
45deg (diagonal)

Infill Settings:
Pierce Dwell Time (in ms)
Grid Density (in Lines/mm)
