Inkscape to GRBL text moves out of alignment

Hi
When I make a design in Inkscape ie. rectangle with text in it to make a keyring, and change it to gcode using extension, saving it to a file then opening that file in GRBL, the text is out of alignment to the rectangle.
How do I fix this issue?

When I use Inkscape with text in it LaserGRBL I make sure I convert the Text to Path.

Select the Text and from the menu use - Path -> Object to Path or 'Shift + Crtl + C'

This may also help when you use gcode extension although I just Save Inkscape files as SVG and load them directly into LaserGRBL.

Let use know the outcome of your tests.

Hi Yes I followed the path and no good. If I have 3 typed words under each other the middle one goes way out when gcoded. So far saving the job in "Optimized svg" using Inkscape seems to do the trick and allows me to append with decent results in GRBL. A fellow of yours has send a url for the latest J tech and I will check now after this 'optimized' trial run. Thanks very much for your input as it is much appreciated. Kevin

Wouldn't the Group function in the Objects menu solve this?

Group objects no problem, it is text that goes array even when grouped. But saving the job as "Optimized svg" seems to hold text together.
