dump1090 not using dev branch

Looking at .gitmodules Stratux should use the dev branch of dump1090 out of the box, right? But it doesn't. Is that correct ?

Yes, thats the master branch.

The .gitmodules shows

[submodule "dump1090"] path = dump1090 url = https://github.com/flightaware/dump1090.git branch = dev
Can you tell me how to change the Makefile so that it initialize the dev branch instead of master branch. I asked google for that but could not find any decent answer.

cd dump1090 && git checkout -b dev origin/dev && git pull && make BLADERF=no

This works only when running make the first time. After that I get fatal: A branch named 'dev' already exists.

@b3nn0 Could you please tell me how to change the xdump1090: section to get that working ?
