A while back, whp198dec would have trouble recognising Manchester bits if the audio was first mp3 encoded and then decoded before processing (this was a hand-crafted test).

  • Try this again
  • Make an automated test for it
  • Make whp198dec more robust to compression artefacts -- start by adding a box filter before finding the zero-crossings
