Every time I try to log in with Google Drive I get a notification from Google saying that this app is trying to access my private information and that it is not secure
It happens to me both in the browser version and in the web app for smartphones, I can no longer access my workspace files

I had the same, and added a github syncronization instead.
I know it's not a solution, but if you don't want to have to do a lot of work to figure out how to get this working for you, it works, and you can at least keep moving. Your existing data should be safe in google drive even if you can't synchronize to it anymore.
You can sync to a gist or to a repository. For a "book" or multiple document grouping I would recommend the repository approach.
If this sounds like a foreign language to you, apologies.
