imaris/tif saving is not working after update 15.12.2021 #156
Comments
Saving of xml/hdf5 memory usage does not increase and stays pretty much the same throughout the saving process. It does not save projections. Saving as tif planes works, but it does not create projections. Saving as tif volumes shows the same problems as saving as imaris file. Quickly the system goes out of memory. |
I don't think that I changed anything... |
I used only 1 I/O. I will check a fresh new installation if it still works. |
Ok!

Hello @tischi,
I realized that after the last update with the xml/hdf5 saving imaris saving does not seem to work anymore :-( It has frozen fiji after starting the writing of 21kb ims file. This was when using 10 I/O threads which did work last week. Saving with 1 I/O thread also does not work either. The cropped file I would like to save is 0.014 GB. The original file was 125GB. during saving the memory usage quickly ramped up to 32 GB (which is all I have). I am saving the data locally.
