Challenge Description

Want to create a DAO? This challenge is for you. There has been a proliferation of new DAOs in the past 12 months. What are they missing? How can they be improved? This challenge's prize will be awarded to the project that creates the best new DAO and integrates with Boardroom's Governance Portal. Projects can use of the co-sponsors' governance frameworks (such as Compound Governor Bravo or Moloch DAO) or a custom framework that they build an integration to Boardroom's governance portal for. Please reach out in the Boardroom Discord with any questions regarding integrations.

Submission Requirements

To be considered for this prize, projects must use one of the co-sponsors' governance frameworks or a custom governance framework and onboard their DAO to Boardroom's governance portal. The project must be open source so that judges can review the sources and implementation.

Judging Criteria

The prize will be awarded to the project or projects that create a DAO and onboard it to Boardroom's Governance Portal. Projects must articulate why their DAO implementation solves for an identified problem - either with the DAO's design or the DAO's purpose. Winners will be decided by Boardroom's judges.

First place prize: $1500
Second place: $300
Third place: $200
