I just noted this library which deals with neuronal morphology (including swc, hdf5 and (experimental) Neurolucida): https://github.com/BlueBrain/NeuroM

@romainbrette There could indeed be useful stuff in there. I've seen that in several places they say that they are going to use a C++ library called morphIO for the loading/saving part (so NeuroM would be only for analyzing morphologies), but I did not actually find this library anywhere :-/
