I wasn't sure how to contact you and I just wanted to say thank you for creating this. It is very helpful because I use an external player with Kodi so I needed a way to download subtitles before opening the video in the external player. Thank you very much for making and sharing this!!!!! :)

There is a problem though which is preventing this from working for me. The subtitle file would need to be downloaded to the same directory with the same name. Would this be possible to achieve? I would be very greatful! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

  1. Thank you.
  2. This addon only add an option in the context menu which do one thing, opening the search subtitles dialog. All the rest of code to make it possible is not done here, and it's too complicated and this is wasn't intended for that, it only for pre-check if subtitles exist. Currently if you press 'download' it basically will downloaded to their temp folders in the userdata. So it won't be possible right now.
