Add support for AMD firmware protection checks

The initial implementation of the pre-install checks only work for Intel when testing the firmware protections. We need to investigate how this works on AMD and add support for AMD also.

@kukrimate I can't assign you directly, but this sounds like the kind of issue that is perfect for you, and it has 2 corresponding Jira tasks on the foundations team board (1 to figure it out, and 1 to implement the required checks). Feel free to assign it to yourself if you want to work on it.
